When stormy winter weather heaps fresh powder on your favorite resort's slopes, you've got to get to the mountain. It's okay to call in sick at work, but it's not okay to stuff your skis and snowboards into your back seat. Let up to 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards ride up top where they belong, cradled in the cushioned arms of the Thule SnowCat Ski & Snowboard Rack.
Thule designed the SnowCat specifically to mount onto factory side rails, so you don't need to buy a full set of crossbars just to carry your snow gear. The powerful feet grab hold of your roof's side rails with a vice-like grip, and the SnowCat is fully adjustable to work with a wide range of roof sizes.
Plus, you don't have to worry about ski thieves walking off with your equipment while you're in the lodge sipping hot cocoa or chatting up snow bunnies. Each arm of your SnowCat Ski & Snowboard Rack stays secure using the included Thule One Key locks. Your Thule SnowCat Rack is backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

Fitted onto my 2017 Crosstrek with no problems although would advise a review of the assembly/installation instructions,. Really like that you don't need to add crossbars and are able to put directly onto the factory roof rails

If the manufacturer can developed a way to secure the screws by a knob so that the front and rear rack can move freely back and forth without having to use the hex hinge, it would have been a better product.
