My husband assembled it quite quickly without any problems. It is spacious enough for all 5 of our (not full sized) suitcases with some space left for smaller things. Drove over 1500 miles through many different terrains (no off roading) and had no issues. Rained some one day while driving and nothing got wet. Pleased with the purchase, made traveling far with our suv an option.

Cargo Box was easy to install. It does not have a drain plug inside the cargo space for drainage. The license plate needs a metal frame to keep it from bending back during travel. I also sealed the license plate light with caulk to keep the moisture out of the light. I installed a locking bolt on the trailer hitch for security. Overall it appears to be adequate for what it is intended for. The locks are a bit small and are probably only a slight deteriance to a break in or theft.

The box is spacy and easy to use however the latches are not very secure. Out of 2,(both) latches broke the first time I used it. On one latch the key insert fell out and we could not lock it and the other latch broke and fell off totally. The latches are thin and cheap. There are 2 other latches like these securing the box to the tray on the hitch. Anyone could open or take the cargo box. Other than that the cargo box and hitch assembly seem to be made very well.

The hitch pin hole didn't line up properly, i had to enlarge the hole. I had to shim the mounting brackets for the platform as the 4 bolt holes didn't line up properly. I do like the operation of it.

We could not be any happier with this purchase. It fits a LOT of stuff! And, is much easier to access than climbing on top of the vehicle to the roof rack. Easy to put on the car - and there is even enough clearance for my back hatch to open without moving the box..... bonus!
