      Description

Whoever said that getting there is half the fun must have been traveling alone with only one suitcase and no maps. Because once you start adding in passengers, luggage and camping supplies, your cockpit becomes mighty claustrophobic. Give your copilots and yourself a lot more elbow room—pack your gear up top on a Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack.

Like adding an extra trunk to your ride, Rhino Rack Aero Racks form a sturdy platform for packing on more of your stuff. Your kit comes complete with everything you need to turn your open roof into a strong, stable, and secure mounting point: oval-shaped aluminum crossbars, glass-reinforced feet and all the hardware. And since it's custom configured for your particular year, make and model, the installation is a breeze.

Once your car, truck or SUV is equipped with the Rhino Rack Aero Roof Rack, the sky's the limit on what you can carry. From mountain bikes and ocean kayaks to cargo baskets and work ladders, Aero Bars shoulder it all—with the right carrier, of course. And, they're backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

      Had my doubts

I was skeptical about how sturdy these racks would remain on the top of a "bare" truck cab roof. After about a month of driving, the empty racks were solid. The next test was a 3 hour trip with kayaks on top and a 5th wheel RV behind at Interstate speeds up to 70mph. The Rhino racks remained totally solid and performed well. I used the matching Rhino rack kayak carriers to carry the kayaks flat, i.e. supporting the hull, not on the side. These fit the track in the Rhino racks perfectly.

      Good Rack, Bad Instructions

Rack built well, but the instructions are bad....basically pictures, hardly any narrative. Thankfully tech support was great in Aurora Colorado. They explained more about the angle of the attachment points and how tabs had to fit under blocks...pictures don't explain anything.

      Too loud unfinished

I bought the system thinking it would be a clean executed design. It looks unfinished looking up at the guts under the key. I also purchased the air ramp thinking it would make it quieter. The rack is so loud it is annoying.

I've had my windshield wipers swiped in this urban environment. I know the locks are just a deterrent but that is better than no deterrent. The rack is solid and I am sure will last a long time
