I bought the Max 2.0 because other reviews had said their trucks had stopped using oil when the 4cyl program had been turned off. I have run this program now for close to a thousand miles and haven't used any oil with the engine running on 8 cyl all the time. Gas mileage has remained about the same as before, I haven't noticed any problems with the Max 2.0 programmer. My 2014 GMC sierra has a lot more horse power running this programmer .

'04 Ram 2500 Cummins with 35" Nittos. Not being very tech savvy I chose to install Program #2 (towing) to compensate for the oversized tires and for more torque while towing our 23' toy hualer. Installation was easy, including recalibration of the speedometer. Better throttle response and more power were immediately obvious and my fuel economy increased by 1.5-2 mpg. The truck also tows our trailer with much less effort. I am very satisfied with the Smarty Jr.
