      Description

Running boards date back to the glory days of automotive style and convenience. But just because Bonnie and Clyde used them, doesn't mean you have to pull a bank heist to pay the dealership for yours. Steelcraft STX100 Running Boards run with the best boards the factory has to offer—without running your credit rating into the ground.

Steelcraft side boards are crafted from strong, rust-resistant extruded aluminum for maximum strength. Then, your Steelcraft running boards for trucks and SUVs are wrapped with a rubberized step surface for super sure footing and trimmed with stainless steel for stepped up style.

When it comes to installing your Steelcraft truck running boards, there’s no need to run to the hardware store, or run your drill. Your Steelcraft side steps feature custom mounting brackets that bolt right to existing factory frame holes in no time. Even better, Steelcraft backs your STX100 Aluminum Running Boards with a limited Lifetime Warranty.

I really like the sleek look of these boards compared to the steel nerf bars I had previously. I also appreciate the aluminum in the boards as opposed to steel which can rust. In terms of installation it was mostly straight forward. The only "issue" is I wish that the rear of the board where the passenger doors are was a little more stable. In my previous nerf bar there was an extra bolt that was used near the rear of the vehicle. I haven't had issues with the board coming off or anything!

      Great Choice

Great looking running boards that perfectly fit the SUV like a glove and complement its looks. Installation instructions are easy to follow as is the installation itself. Well built and look great

After I watched the installation video a couple time I had a false sense of confidence and decided to install it myself. I thought I'd have this installed in 2 hours or less but unfortunately it was almost double the time. I didn't go by the directions that were mailed with the package but instead I followed the video's directions verbatim. The running boards look great. My only complaint is that one of the mounting brackets were manufactured incorrectly and shows a gap against the Jeep.

This is a nice looking running board for my 2016 4Runner. I had my running boards installed by Pep Boys Auto Shop. They did an awesome job for 125 bucks plus tax. I tried to install it myself but I had 5 bolts that were very hard to remove. Instead of damaging it, I just decided to let the Pros remove it. No issues with the running boards. These Steelcraft boards look fantastic on my 4Runner. I recommend these running boards to any 4Runner owners out there or any SUV Vehicles.
