good value for the money. I do wish the model I purchased had been engineered for a center support of some type. As it is, attaching with 2 bolts, one on each end into center of tube is not as steady as it could be with a center support. Instructions and mounting were no problem. Just be patient and take your time doing driver side first.

I love everything about these Aries SS Nerf Bars except for the install. I had to drill and tap 10 holes in the frame for mounting, witch was very tight & cramped. The first one took over 2 hours but I learned from the first, so the 2nd one took and hour. Overall I'm completely satisfied.

Added these bars to our 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. Exactly with we were looking for. They added protection to the sides of the vehicle and are functional, as our children use them to assist them getting in and out of the truck. The instructions need to be redesigned or rewritten. They are not very user friendly. They actually get confusing at one point.

Kit 204039-2 fits 73 to 91 Chevy Suburbans and Crew Cab pickups. The instructions claim no drilling required, wrong. The instructions indicate the nut on the spring can be accessed from the back of the hanger, wrong there is no access. I thought maybe this was only the case on suburbans but it is not. The front mount which mounts to a body mount needs a 1 1/4" spacer so the bar is equally spaced from the rocker panel. Other than that it's a nice bar be prepared to do some fabrication.
