It seems Blackhorse takes pride in their products; welds are nicely finished, edges are finished with rubber trim, everything is nicely powdercoated and the fit is perfect, tying directly to the frame and not just the bumper. If I would change anything it would be all stainless fasteners instead of just for the headlight guards.

This grille guard will make you truck look sharp but I wonder if it will provide much protection to the front end. I live in an area with many deer and I doubt this guard will withstand a deer strike. Also the directions were incorrect. The frame brackets were marked L and R. The directions indicated the orientation of left and right were as you were sitting in the vehicle. I had to install them backwards (left on right) to make it fit. It took me a couple of hours so not that big a deal.

nice grill guard, but be careful it say's it is a one piece grill guard, it is not it is a modular grill guard you must assemble the outer wings by the headlamps, they bolt on. seems pretty sturdy though. you also have to cut the lower deflector for the brackets.

Wow...I'm a car and truck guy who has done a lot of stuff myself and this might have been the hardest thing I ever had to do. The instructions were clear for the guard itself, but when one simple line states, "Remove the front bumper cover," you think it's a small task, but it took about 6 hours and some luck and some guessing to get it off without doing any damage to it. Overall result excellent, but only because of our perseverance and determination.
