My 2017 Ram 1500 only had 1,000 miles on it so the stock muffler came off with ease and the flowmaster bolted right up as advertised. Took me 35 minutes total and I didn't even have to jack up the truck, just crawled under it. Sounds like it supposed to now. When the MDS kicks in there is a little drone and knock but you have that with the stock muffler too, now it's just a little louder. It's not so bad that I would consider Removing the flowmaster, it just sounds too good.

I was debating for a while between American thunder and the outlaw direct bolt on for my 13 ram 1500. Man am I glad I got the outlaw! Nice deep rumble but not obnoxious. Kept the resonators on minimal drone in the cab. I'll always use outlaw now on any other truck I get.

The factory exhaust and intake on the 2014 Ram 1500 hemi combine to make the truck sound like a vacuum cleaner. The Flowmaster Outlaw muffler changes that in a big way. It's loud and it lets the hemi sound like it should when you get on it. There's a moderate drone at 75mph highway speeds, but it's not that bad. The MDS drone is only a problem when the programming gets "stuck" in 4-cyl mode around 30mph. Had to loosen intermed pipe to get things aligned, otherwise easy inst.

Very nice sound, not obnoxious at all. Was not sure if I should go for this one or American thunder. After reading many reviews and viewing you tube clips, went with the outlaw. Super easy to install and has s real nice sound. Only problem I had was one of the bolts on the factory muffler was stripped before I even touched it. So, I spent a good while using a hacksaw to cut the old clamp. After that, easy! Use penetrating oil before you even get muffler, should have no problem!
