These were easy to install, but nowhere did it say to file the points of first contact with the windows. The windows will not roll past a blunt edge, must be filed to a ramp of sorts. Also, for a F150, 24 hrs of not rolling the windows down is insufficent. More like a week due to safety "bump" function of windows. This will occur with ANY in channel devices on the Fords. All in all, if instructions were better, I would give 5 stars.

At first, I had no problem installing them but when I tried closing the windows they would hit the visor and come right back down. I would press the visors in but I had some problems and ended up having to take them off and reinsert them and I still had problems with the driver's side window because it glass continued to hit the visor. I had to push in the visor to apply pressure so that it would not hit. After a few more trials, I finally was able to get the window to close.

I have 3 crew cabs with these AVS in channel vent visors and like the looks of them. This last set I got the front driver door one had the front tab broke off in a couple of pieces in the package . I was able to use some 5 minute epoxy to patch it up not perfect but I can live with it.

I had issues with another brand in channel visor blowing off, so decided to try the AVS. WOW- much better fit, windows are not affected (the old ones would now allow power windows to work as they detected a bind, and would go back down), could not be more pleased- especially since they were less expensive to boot!!!

I've had these visors on previous trucks and they worked well, installed easily and looked great. I recently bought them for a 2016 F150 super crew cab with child protection windows that retract when resistance is detected. First of all, for whatever reason when I unpacked the visors there were scratch marks on two of the visors and drivers visor is noticeably warped. In addition, when closing them they retract due to resistance. No mention of how to override that issue in the instructions.

Looks good, price good, but the install sucked! After following the install instructions to the T. Both of my front windows will not close right! Both the front and rear of each window get caught on the ends. I just installed them today and Ill give them the 24 hours for the tape to set and the channel to adapt to the insert. If they don't adjust they are going back. My driver side wont even close completely, not impressed so far. The insert is slightly to thick and that's why it wont close.

Everything was included in the packaging and the end product looks very good. Install instructions were general and vague. When I finally got them installed the auto reverse kept activating on window closure. The saving grace was a YouTube video which explained how to override the auto reverse feature. It was explained how to leave them closed for several day and the summer sun helped custom fit to my windows.
