    Cargo liner

I ordered the cargo liner for a 2015 BMW X5M. The liner is too long to fit the cargo area. It abuts the rear of the second row seating; however, the aft portion is too long and curls up when the lower gate is closed. I do not think that cutting it would be a good idea.

Better too big than too small.

First tip: when it's left on your doorstep and it's freezing, let it unroll and warm up in the house for a while prior to attempting the placement. Mine had to be trimmed about 1" on three sides to fit correctly. Tin snips or a box cutter with a fresh blade work well.

fit not as snug as I had expected for the price

Reviewed By Ge V (WATERTOWN, MA) Reviewed for a 2018 Honda CR-V —1/18/2018 3:46 AM

It'll protect cargo rug from any spill or scrape, but for the price I expected a better fit. The sides and edges aren't form fitting, not a complete seal. Little items the size of lego bricks can slip between liner or melting snow from say a snowboard or sled can seep through. I've had it for a few weeks now and it is winter in Boston. Perhaps overtime and in warmer weather, the plastic will soften and be more form fitting.
