      Description

We’ve all heard horror stories of much-hyped, overly complex hanging-style racks losing their load due to some fault in the construction. For half the assembly time, double the peace of mind and – possibly – quadruple the cargo capacity, make a firm connection with the Kuat Transfer Hitch Mount Bike Rack.

Perhaps its most convenient feature is the Kuat Transfer Bike Rack’s spring-loaded foot pedal that allows you to fold the frame up and away when not in use, thereby granting you free access to the rear hatch of your vehicle – with or without your bikes loaded.

On the subject of loading, the Kuat Transfer Hitch Rack can accommodate most bikes regardless of frame design, suspension type, axle style or wheel size, fitting tires of up to 4.5” with the addition of a Phat Bike Kit (sold separately). This durable steel rack is available in 2- or 3-bike capacities with a maximum weight of 40 lbs per bike. Equip it with optional cable locks and a locking hitch pin, your Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Platform Rack is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Bang for the Buck the Kuat Transfer is hands down one of the best out there. I looked at several brands in this price range and this stood out above. Really easy to put together and install on my hitch. Seems sturdy and has an optional locking system for not much more money that I like. It folds up to the vehicle nicely when not in use. I can get my trunk open with our without bikes on it.

We put the rack together with the directions provided easily. The rack so far works very well with the bikes we have and it is a lot easier placing the bikes on the rack. I would purchase the bike rack again without hesitation.

Easy assembly and installed is easy on my receiver hitch. I would recommend ordering the cable bike frame lock. AutoAnything was very helpful with my order and shipping it in a timely manner. I would recommend this rack and will order another one when the time comes.

This rack is one of the best bike racks I've ever own. It is hard to believe at first how easy it is to place and secure your bikes using this rack. I own very expensive bikes and I feel confident this rack will secure them very well. There is no way I will use a cheap rack. I totally recommend the Kuat Transfer bike rack to anyone.

good, stable rack. quick and easy to load bike on. only negative is how arms nest when in the upright position. Doesn't feel secure enough to me to keep from hitting back of truck if i slam on brakes, so i secure with para-cord.
