This worked great with a K&N filter and you notice the difference right away . You need to go to Premium gas 93 octane and the ECu in Sport mode shifts tighter . I cut out the mid pipe and put in a set of Denso Racing plugs gapped at .026 . Raced 2 5.0 stick cars and held them till 4 gear .Got them out of the hole with the auto in sport mode and by 3rd have a car length but 4th they catch me . They cant believe a Turbo is that quick and when I tell them I am still Drag Racing at 61 they laughed!

I have used several CAI's and several of these modular intake tubes. The tubes perform as well as the complete CAI.

Would definitely recommend. Hardest part of install was taking off the stock equipment...beyond that, it only took a few minutes. Truck had a deeper tone and sounded great. Throttle response was improved and it was able to hold OD longer on hills. 2007 Silverado wt 4.8L

This needs to be in a kit with the throttle body spacer as the two go toggether and need each other to operate efficiently. I bought the spacer and had a bogging issue, bought the intake and the two together was a night and day difference. More low end, better throttle response, mid range is fantastic. Must buy together to benefit.
